Hey guys, just a some random questions, i'm now driving a 1992 GMC Sierra 1500 (chevelle is parked for awhile) to and from school. It has some problems. First, it has the 4.3L v6 with a manual transmission. I was wondering if anyone knows what the idle should be? (The tag in the engine compartment is gone) Also, does anyone know where i an find interior part for it!? I REALLY need the armrests on the door panel but can't fid them ANYWHERE!

Chances are the idle is automaticly controlled automaticly by the ECM. This is how my dad's '93 S-10 with a 2.8 litre/5 speed is. I don't think it can be adjusted.
Does yours idle too high or too low?
As for the arm rests, have you tried LMCtruck.com yet? They might make them....if not the boneyard might be your next bet.

Yea, it idles low....at about....200rpm's...maybe less!? You have to be pretty damn good with a manual to drive it! All the trucks i've found in boneyards have cloth interiors mine is vinyl, but i'll keep looking.
