Code 71 is the original color of my 69. Im about to have it painted. The guy asked me if i wanted stripes on it. Hood and trunk. I know that these werent orginal because these didnt come till 70. I love hood a trunk stripes though. I odnt know what blue. Should i go with lemans blue. Thats light though. Or 1970 fathom blue. I think that is a sweet color. I like lemans though too. Bu teverytime i have seen lemans blue it is light. too light. I dont know. can someone give me some ideas.

LeMans Blue is a popular color for 69's depends on what YOU like. Check out Don Lightfoot's sight for a pic of a LeMans Blue car.

I wouldn't go with the band-aid stripes if it were mine, to me they don't look right on a 69.

Have the paint shop get a pint of the factory blue colors for 69 and make you some samples. It might help you to decide.

I like the 53 code. Med Blue Met. or Astro Blue (I think).

I saw a convt. at CB00 that was to die for with this color.
