I personally plan on being in town on Friday evening.

Hey Bill, The Best Western on 65north in Gardendale is the host motel. I'll be there friday evening to help set up the hospitality room. Lori and Fred are coming up from N Florida. I checked with the mgr at Wal Mart, concerning fred parking his 40ft trailer. They said it would be ok. The BW is approx. 5 miles from our show. There are plenty of places to eat and its in a good area. Let me know when you are arriving. If I can help ya let me know.

I will be there. I have been "on the fence" for a while now pending some work travel. Just found out today that I don't leave for that until a couple of days after the show! :)

Thanks for posting about the hotel info not being on the site. Seems that whole month of September did not get updated. I'd better fix that before I get smacked by Traci.

Yeah, Mike it's at Dewey Barber Chevy; Warrior, AL exit 280 off of I-65. Registration starts at 8 am on Saturday, Sept 2nd.

I'm spending the weekend not too far away, at my in-law's house on Smith Lake. I may ride over to the show to hang out for a little while. There's a big money bracket race up at Huntsville this weekend. I may ride up there to spectate after visiting the show.

Just got back from our 3 1/2 week ACES AmeriCruise, but I think by then I'll be rested enough to make the trek south. I believe as of right now there are about 10 Chevelles coming from the Mid-South club... some arriving Friday afternoon and spending the night, others (like me) will be driving down on Saturday morning (early) and spending the day. I was there lastr year, and it's a great event. I even enjoyed looking at some of the "other" branded cars in attendance, too! See y'all there!

It's a little too far for me to drive, but I'd appreciate it if you (or whoever does it) would draw my number (8854 to 8863) for the trailer raffle.:D Don't need a trailer, either, but I could use the $$$.:p Ya'll have a good time!

Bill said he was getting over there Friday night. Seeing as how I always vote for his car - he should stick around to get the awards around 2:00pm.

If you are going to the races in Huntsville, let me know if I can help in any way. My house is some what on the way to the track as your coming up I-65. Sadly, I can not attend the event. Opening day of College football, and the girlfriend is out of town... so I'll be doin' some drinkin'. :D

Mike you did a great job with the pictures, I think it turned out great. We had 177 vehicles entered. I didn't get to see much as I cooked all day. Everybody that came by said they had a good time. I think that Barry Miller of Big BoysToys interviewed approx 18 owners for his show on Sat. The ones that can't view the show got a tape ordered. I did get to speak with Chuck for a minute, as he was leaving. I know Jerry will probably jump in here, but I want to thank all the people that came from out of town, as well as the locals. This show just gets better every year. Hope everyone had a great time and safe trip back home. Hope to see ya'll soon!:waving:

I didn't get to bring my Chevelle, but did get to stop by for a brief visit. It was a really nice show, great cars, and I hope I can bring my car next year.
