I was looking at the trim that will be going on the sides of my car after I polish and have it buffed out and I noticed some tiny pits on the underside of it. Can this be buffed out? I'd hate to have to replace it because of these tiny things. I know I've asked the question before but that was before I noticed the pits.

I don't understand why you are worried about the backside of the trim?????? Seems you should ignore it to me.

It's on the underside by the corners, creeping into the front.

If your stainless is pitted, it's probably more likely to have happened from manufacturing as it is from corrosion. I sure wouldn't worry about tiny pits.
