Hello,
Anyone out there changed out a roof before? From the quarter panel to the front post. Severe corrosion on roof rail gutters also previous owner cut back the roof sheetmetal and let the under structure rust. I know that there is a leaded seam at the quarter. Any and all comments welcome

I just replaced an entire roof that was crushed by a tree on a 70. It wasn't a difficult job, I don't know about skinning one, but I can't imagine it would very difficult.

There is a seam at both the front post top, and the sails. The lead in these seams is easily removed with a map gas torch.

Do a search on my roof replacement and read the advice I got from MartinSr. I made patterns like he suggested on the front posts, and I used the orginal joint on the sail.

Good luck
