If I change to stock disc setup will I feel a big difference from stock drum? Or shall I go for the aftermarket, whats the biggest and best disc brakes if you have 15" wheels. Want something that is bolt on and make the car stop.

I just switched from stock drums to Wilwood discs on all four corners. Used SSBC 7" booster & mastercylinder w/ a SSBC distribution block w/ proportioning valve for the back set-up. The entire system can be installed in a day & the braking is really unbelievable.

I used the Ground Up disk brake conversion kit which converted the manual drum brakes to power disk up front with an 11" power booster. It has a nice stock look for aftermarket. The stopping power is night and day. It was alot of work for one day but you will definitely notice the difference. All in all, it was money well spent.

A stock style disc brake set up will be a night and day difference from your current drums. Discs are so much better than drums, you don't need the exotic (expensive) disc set ups to see a huge improvement from what you have.

I agree with above. Drums also tend to fade when they get hot. You can usually feel a big difference after two, three good stops in the rush hour traffic, or when you're braking going down a hill.

Future maintenance is something to think about too. Drums are no fun at all to work on. Discs is definitely the way to go.
