I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to find fenders for a 69 malibu?
I have a pair for a '68, that have some rust, but are "workable", to the right bodyman, but ultimately, I would rather stick w/ 69's, so I don't have trouble w/ resale of the car down the road. Thanks!

There is no way of telling what year they were from, they are the same.I would suggest using them instead of repro's you will have less trouble.

Go to your local Chevy Dealer, ask for a set, pay the man, and go home with new 69 Fenders.

Like was said above, GM dealers have them.

Is there a list anywhere (URL link preferred) as to what GM Dealers <still> stock for our cars? I'm amazed that Dealers still stock fenders for a 35 year old car!

Are these true GM stamped metal, or just GM Restoration Parts sold @ the Dealership? (e.g. Goodmark)

they dont stock them they call the SPO when they get an order for them.

Donny: Do you know what Chevelle parts Service Part Operations (SPO) still produces/stocks??? Is there a list somewhere?

no list, you just need a dealer thats not lazy and willing to look the part up to see if its discontinued.

sorry to tell you this but your out of luck for a 70 (their discontinued)
but on a side note from what i understand the 70 Goodmark fenders fit better than G.M's.

I got my left fender at Brown and Brown Chevy in Mesa, Az. Part # 3953853 LH. List was 540.76 and I paid 366.91 plus shipping. Thay also have the right side at the same price. I bought it in March of this year and they are original GM fenders.

OPG(original parts group) still has NOS 69 front fenders for $449.95.
