The movie that is. Has anyone seen it? I know it sounds stupid but I am somewhat intrigued by it. Just wondering if it would be worth seeing...

whell this is directly from imdb.com, here is the link http://imdb.com/title/tt0417148/trivia

This film's title originated at an after-work happy hour among Hollywood colleagues to see who could come up with the most awful pitch for a movie...

if that doesn't make it even worse, here we have a bunch of drunk hollywood types in a bar trying to come up with the worst movie of all time. that makes me really want to see it. Wow i want to pay $7 to see movie that a bunch of drunk guys came up with. might as well dump that $7 down the toilet.

I can't believe Samuel Jackson would even take part in a movie that sounds so stupid.

I went to the movie today (Legend of Rickey Bobbie). I asked the young guy taking up tickets if he had seen 'Snakes'. He said yes and that it was, "Funny." I asked if it was suppose to be funny. He said, "No." Draw your own conclusions.

I saw it, it was awesome. It is what it is, and I thought it was very entertaining.

You don't go to a movie called "snakes on a plane" and expect it to be the next "godfather".

I can already see the sequel title - "spiders on a train". :D

They say it is destined to be a cult classic....which to me means only a "select" group will like it so I shouldn't go see it.

I was thinking the same thing.

The only suspense here is going to be when the snake jumps out at someone.
Otherwise, I just don't see how there could be much of a plot.

Turtles on a log might make a better movie.

you know, I saw it Friday, and for what it was, it was a HILARIOUS movie. It both was and wasn't meant to be so, but there are some choice scenes that had me and the whole theater laughing like crazy.

Honestly, I'd recommend it. Just be sure you get a drink or two in you before you go.

I have not seen it yet so I can't fairly comment. Remember the Rocky Horror Picture Show? Now there was a cult following if there was ever was one. I just heard on the news that Snakes On a Plane was #1 at the box office grossing over 15 million.
