I may purchased a set of Weld Draglites 15X10 with 5" B/S and they are drilled for rims screws on both sides frt and rear. My question is will rims fit a 70 Chevelle with stock springs with out any rubbing with a P27560R15 tires. Yes I have done a search I see Draglites that will fit 70,s with 15X10 with 5.5 B/S will that half inch make that much difference? Then the rims screws hoes will it hold air with a tubeless tire without any leaks on beads? So are any of you running this rim with street tires and rims screws wont leak? Thanks Dave.

Don't know about the rim screws but the 15x10 w/ 5.0" backspace are going to rub. Not much but you will have to trim the wheel wells.

I had to do some lip trimming with 5.5" backspacing. They won't leak air but they won't fit either, unless you raise the rear or the rear you have is narrower than the original.

My 10's have fit great on both cars. First on the 71 chevelle and then the 69.
Had to raise the bolt hole for the lower shock a inch but on some you don't even need to do that. My neighbors 69 and his brothers previous 69 all fit with no rubbing. No trimming anywhere.

What are the backspacing numbers on those wheels?

Are you sure they are 5 and not 5 1/2, correct me if I am wrong but I don't recall a 5" back space draglite.

Well Thanks to all who helped out. I am glad I can use them and they wont leak air. Your right ChevelleRob there is no 5" B/S rim in draglites. I asked the seller to measure again. I looked at the rear quaters on my car the lips have been rolled on both sides and stainless trim is also cut. My 12 bolt is narrowed 2" total less than stock. So they should fit. I want to use cargo coil springs by TRW. I also have SSM lower control arms and adj uppers. Thanks Dave
