I have a '70 Chevelle that I'm getting ready to have painted and am looking for suggestions on the best paint to use. I know PPG is supposed to be good but, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, any and all opinions regarding Goodmark products would be appreciated since I'll be replacing the bumpers as well.
Thanks!

I am not sure on the Goodmark products, but I do hear good things about them around here. On the paint, I used Glasurit 21 line with good results on my ride, straight color coat no clear. Another good one is Sikkens, they are one of the better brands out there too. I have sprayed PPG quite a bit back when I was painting with nothing bad at all to say about them, a very good product at a reasonable cost.

I always had great luck with deltron. Colors with deltron are available in virtually combo.

Paint, like any other product. Have those
that swear by it and those that swear at it.
With that said, I like Dupont products.

I use to be a BIG Dupont fan until I tried some others out there. Dupont's urethane can be a mother to buff out. The longer it cures the worse it gets. I like the PPG and have been using Sherwin Williams for a few years now. PPG will save you a few bucks over Dupont. Are you doing the work yourself or farming it out. If it's going out for paint see what the shops are using and decide from there. Some will spray whatever you bring, but it won't necessarily save you money due to the fact most shops have their mixing stations to save them money.
Good luck
