67 Chevelle SS,(auto right now on floor) Info so far is no holes in radiator for trans lines.lines run to a trans cooler.
bell crank frame plate on frame(welded)
2 purple wires joined together on top of column.(looks like neutral safety wires)
No harness to console(buy there is the plug with orange ,white and grey ,under dash.
This is a tach and gauge car.
Original floor nas a hook up (clip)for a speedometer cable on the pass. side.
on the cowl tag, there is a L in one of the groups (From the web site Chevellestuff.com the L stands for 4 speed)

any info would be a great help.
Thanks

The bracket on the frame means it was a stick car, the automatic cars did not have the bracket, my 67 was a auto and I had to add the bracket.

The Muncie 4 speed was the only transmsission that used a passenger side speedometer cable entry into the body. There should be a 1 inch hole in the passenger side toe board as well as two clips. All the other transmsissions had the speedo entry under the steering column with clips under the driver floor. This plus the other evidence does indicate that your car was originally equipped with a Muncie 4-speed.

I found the one inch hole in the pass. side toe board for the speedometer......
With a factory mounted clip located just as the floor board levels out....
