Just curious as to what the best method is to repair rock chips? This is B/C paint.

Thanks,

my body shop guy showed me to use a match stick or i actually use a cut off q-tip. you dab on the paint and let it dry. it shrinks and you dab on more. 1 coat each day till you get it built up above the surface. then you take a new razor blade and slice it off level with the surface. wet sand it with 1500-2000 paper and polish it out. dont rush the process but i have fixed chips and you cant even see them.
good luck, dick

I believe with base coat/clear coat paint only the first coat or two should be base coat. Just enough for color coverage. Then the remaining build-up in clear coat.
