How hard is it to change out the case of a Turbo 350? I purchased one online through EBay and when it was delivered it had a crack in the bellhouseing past the pump. I tried the whole warranty thing but with shipping cost, I would only get like $100 back out of the deal. I have never rebuilt a transmission before. The internals in this one are supposedly all new. The guy I bought it from rebuilt it and said it must have gotten cracked during shipping. I already worked the whole shipping insurance issue and since I threw away the packing materials, they denied my claim. So now I am stuck with a T-350 with a cracked case and I am trying to figure out what my options are. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It can be done and is not terribly hard to do. Does the crack extend back past the pump into the main case? If not, you can also consider a JW Ultra Bell. You cut off the bell area of the case and it bolts down on top of the pump.

The crack goes down pst tje pump into the main case a little bit. What are the steps that I would have to take for replacing the case? Where would I find an empty T-350 case?
