The bottom of the panel behind the seat (front of bed) is completely rusted out. The bed itself has alot of rust. Can I get a complete bed floor and front panel new? If I go to a junk yard will they let me have these two pieces and maybe cut a few inches higher or are these part of the quarters?

The site's sponsor, Ground Up Restorations, lists the two bed floor halves for $129.95 each. Depending on the year of your El Camino, you might also be in luck for the front of the bed. I bought the upper patch panel for under the window on my '64, and after I had installed it and fixed the bottom part with both patches and POR 15 putty, they came out with the complete panel, window to floor. The one they offered fit '64-'67 El Caminos, but they might offer one for the later cars too. Check out Ground Up's site, do a search for El Camino bed, and you'll bring up the floor halves in the results.
Good luck,
Darren

Thanks Darren but they are discontinued and they don't make a full front panel for 68 to 72. Looks like junk yard time. I try to buy all I can from Ground Up.
