Is this molding glued on? I reached inside the back quarterpanel and didn't feel any studs. I'm going to paint the truck and want to remove the molding?

I found out they are glued on. What's the best way to remove them?

take your time!!! find one of those cheap retractible utility knives that you can get the blade to come out about 2 inches work it along the top then do the same on the bottom DO NOT PULL ON THEM they have a metal frame inside it that you will distort if you try to pull them off. then have fun getting the doubble sided tape glue off i used a 3m pad on a grinder to get the glue off good luck

My buddy uses a wide (2 inch or so) thin putty knife and a rubber mallet and has moldings off within seconds... he starts on one end and works to the other end...horizonally.
