I'm planning on replacing my carpeting. If I use Dynaliner, should I also use the jute backing? Do the ACC carpets come with the jute backing and if so can it be removed prior to installation over the Dynaliner?

I'll ask this another way...

Should/can the jute padding under an ACC carpet be removed if I'm installing 1/2 inch dynaliner on the floor? Will the extra 1/2 inch cause any problems?

My ACC carpet had the jute attached. Good luck pulling it off. The only problem with the extra thickness will be the door sills and seat belt/seat mounting bolts.
