I have a 69 with a 502 long water pump. What year shroud would be best to use on this. I think someone said a 71 or 72 will work if you change the top hold down.

I just went through the same problem on my 68. I ordered every shroud Ground Up sells for a BB and none of the newer ones even came close to working. I have the 4 hole support on my radiator and it mounts to the shroud with three bolts. The newer ones I received had 2 mounting bolts. I finally used a 68 BB shroud and it mounted to the bottom support with the oem clips. I did have to "clearance" the lower hole hole a tiny bit so it didn't rub.
