I had to pull my dash out so I thought I would freshen it up with some black paint and a silver paint pen to paint aroung gauges.
Is there a good black paint to use on the dash? Is it semi-gloss, hi-gloss or (I don't think it's flat black)
Also the paint used on the dash pad and the rest of the dash? What kind? Rustoueul?

I would use a good vinyl dye for the pad, same for the dash. As for the color, you don't want it to be glossy, they didn't come from the factory that way. It is I believe a semi flat or satin tone that you want.

The part I want to paint is not vinyl it is hard black plastic where the gauges are. The RED part is around the glove box and the glovr door.
