how do you put the metal rails in the head liner,they dont seen to fit.

It isn't easy, just a matter of working them in slowly, sliding the material a little at a time. One thing I found when doing mine was to put some tape over the end of the bow going into the headling, even a small plastic cap would work too, so the sharp edge doesn't tear the material of the bow retainer. If you have a female friend thats done tight fitting curtains on a rod, let them do it, they have more patience than we guys do, and aren't as heavy handed either.

Slit the fabric an inch or two on both ends. This gives you something to hold on to when you start. You end up splitting this anyway when you begin fitting it in the car.
