I asked once before but I'll try again. Has anyone removed rain gutters from a 65? My car is a two-door (postie) and I think smoothing the gutters will help it's look. If someone has a junker sitting out behind the barn I'd love to have you grind off some of the gutter flush and let me know if welding up the gap will be feasable or a royal pain. I hope to do small sections at a time jumping from side to side to avoid warping. Thanks for any advice.

i have done it on a 70. it is no problem. just like you said. i got to tell you though, it may look good but it was a bad idea, because the rain water rolls right off the roof and in the windows now. i would not do it on a daily driver.

PS: This will not be a daily driver.
