Hi Guys. My engine is at the body shop getting ready to be painted. Is there a paint code out there for my big block engine "Chevy Orange". If not who makes an excellent match of the original shade of orange in a spray can so my painter can match it up.
Thanks, Curtis.

I had my local PPG jobber mix up a quart of chevy orange acrylic enamel, Have been using it for a couple of years on assorted engine projects and it still looks great. I will see if I can find the # and post it for you.

The Chevy orange paint from Ground Up..the "details" brand is what I have used on all my cars...great coverage, good color and a spray can you can throw away when done...Albert

Thanks for the replies. These forums and web site (chevelles.com) have helped me immensely with my restoration project.
