Has anyone installed or purchased an Autoloc Shaved door handle kit? I Post in performance but here is probably more suitable. Im debating between the 50lb and the monster 75lb kit, just wondering how well they perform for anyone who uses it. graemlins/beers.gif graemlins/beers.gif

I was really worried about doing it. I didnt have the money to do it for a while so it gave me time to think, then one day I was sitting there bored and realised hey ive got a MIG now, so presto! I just went at it, I like it. Wasnt too hard at all. It was a really fun project. Provided you have access to a MIG it's no problem and a huge money saver.
I hear the Autoloc kits are the best, and they come with an alarm in most of the kits which is just what I need, 2 in 1 smile.gif but i'll have to figure between the 50lb and 70lb sylinoids. I hear 50 would be fine, but I dont want JUST ENOUGH.

Before you shave them i suggest you remove the handles and drive it around a week or so and see what a pain it is! It gets old real quick. I had a vehicle with shaved handles and found myself leaving the windows open and reaching in to open it because the remote is a pain.Dont know how many times i had to go find my keys that i left in the house, when i simply wanted to grab something out of my car but had the windows up. Also try unloading groceries in the rain with shaved handles. graemlins/sad.gif
