: New Front Shocks, what to buy

I'm currently replacing the front Control Arm bushings in the Chevelle, along with some other front end parts, the shocks are looking pretty sad. What is the best shock I can put on it for now. I can't afford the real high dollar shocks though. Are the Lakewoods, or CE the way to go. Is a 90/10 shock what I really want?

Also, since the MOOG 5392 Springs are discontinued, has anyone found a spring that is similar to those?

Thanks for the help,

Matt

KONI's are working pretty good on the front of my car, cost around 102.00 a piece. One of Eds better recommendations ;)

Is this mainly a street car? I have the CE 3 way shock in my car and they work fine at 90/10. 90/10 may be too soft for a street driven car, you may need more adjustability to use on the street.
