hey all, i need some help. I have a 68 chevelle, and my grille and front end appears to have been assembeled from a handfull of screws from a junk drawer. does anyone know what size and types of screws are supposed to hold the front end together? i mean headlight bezels, grille, signal lights, etc. i have roughly 6 different types of screws holding on the headlight bezels alone (wood, sheet metal, etc). the guy who sold me this car screwed me and then conveniently moved to another state. so here i am, trying to make sense of this butcher job. thanks everyone!

Im sorry to hear about that. When something like that happens to me i just laugh it off, gives me something to talk about over beers later.
Buy a factory assembly manual - its worth the few buck for all the headaches it saves.

Most of the good parts vendors sell assembly manuals as well as hardware. I wouldnt consider that a screwing, in fact thats pretty tame for the things I have found in these 30+ year old cars. Be glad the guy took the time to put some screws in there. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
