So, I finally get a chance to work on my beloved 72 Malibu since having bought it a couple months ago. I'm putting in a new lock set and having to drill out the remains of the glove box lock (A large uni-bit works wonders, by the way!) and so I'm thumbing through the crap in the glove box....20 year old registrations, screws, pencils, cover from a pack of zig-zags, and my new registration is tucked neatly in the thin upper "shelf" of the glove box (how handy is that!). But wait...it looks like there's money folded up in there! It's the $220 I thought I'd lost a couple months ago!!!!!!! I am SO fricking relieved and happy right now you can't even imagine! Think I'll crack a cold one to celebrate. :D
