Hopefully this is the correct forum for this!

I recently replaced the door pins and bushings on both doors about 3 months ago, but I can't seem to get rid of the nasty squeak when I open/close the door! I lubed them up with some grease when I installed them, and have also tried shooting them with the canned white grease... in both cases it seems to help for a short time and comes back.

Any suggestions on a good way and what to lube them with to get rid of this once and for all?

use white lube get it from any autoparts store

There is another out there also called "Mighty Lube". It sprays like a penetrating oil and works its way into threads and other out of the way places and it sets up as a grease. Works pretty well but not sold in stores. You'll have to find a distributer. Usually any place that sells automotive tools will carry it.

I usually use motor oil.

I use "dripless oil"--I have a little squirt bottle of it that I bought some years ago at NAPA. The NAPA here doesn't caryy it in stock, but its in NAPA catalogue. It doesn't last forever but iot seems to work pretty good.

My $0.02

The Chevy dealers usually used white grease AND very sparingly. I use the white grease in the aerosol can. Just enough to silence the squeak...wipe off the excess.
