Can anyone tell me who makes a good electric window kit for a "65? Pictures are hard to tell from. Some kits say "bolt in", but I know that rarely is true. Thanks for your help.

I bought a kit about 7 years ago (though I forgot from whom, sorry) and it was and original kit with the wiring harness. It was bolt in but the trick is that you have to drill the holes for hte original motors. The nice thing about this is that GM has the door and door jams already marked with drill indents. This is also true for the rear 1/4 windows. Wiring is also no problem with an original style harness as with the little white snap in holders to keep everything clean. One thing I just realized is that when running the wires to the pass. door, be sure to run them behind the defrost duct and then hang them on the existing clips there.

Kinda long winded but hope that helped a little.

Just installed Electric Life in my 66 and they are great. I think they are manufactured in Italy....There is also a company in North Carolina that makes kits for 60's cars and I hear they are very good. I'll look up their info and passit to you. They build them in-house.
