does anyone make a rear body panel for 70-72? mine is rusted so badly there is no lip for the weatherstrip to be placed. any help is very much appreciated. thanks in advance!

You need to be more specific. There are a number of body panels being reproduced. Can you perhaps post a picture?

i'm refering to the panel on the very rear of the car. the bumper bolts to it on 70-72 cars. i discovered today that i've gotta replace all og the floor pans and both toe boards. i didnt look at it real good before i made the deal but then again i traded a $50 trans for it! at least i have somthing to work with.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, that's called the tail panel. It's not out yet (possibly by the end of the year from Goodmark). You'll have to find a donor car.

Search for the thread "Rear Valance" and you can see how Sevt_chevelle made one out of three separate pieces.

By the way, he also said he would never want to do it again! :D

It's apparently a key part of the car structure, so make sure you know what you are doing when you cut it out.
