For some reason, all of the sudden, my deck lid won't stay latched. Last week while riding down the road, I looked in the rear view mirror to see my deck lid rising. I closed it, and then 2 miles down the road it opened again. I got to looking at the latch and everything looked normal. I flipped the latch with my finger to the closed position, then I pulled down on the latch and it pulled(with a little effort) to the opened position. What would cause this? how can I fix it?

Steve,
There's nothing wrong with your trunk. ;)
That was just me driving behind you while trying out my new, hi-powered, universal, garage door opener remote. :D
I see it works... tongue.gif

Like a charm Bill. Hey Bill, do you work at the main hangar across from the cargo building? If so, is that your yellow 71 Malibu with the Black vinyl top. I also see a red 69 Nove in that parking lot all the time.

I know both cars you mentioned...neither are mine. :(
I tried to buy that Nova earlier this year but couldn't convince the owner to turn her loose. The Malibu is a 4 door. There's also a white '70 Elky parked here most nice days.
I'm in the same complex...just further down 2 more gates.

That red Nova looks like a sweet ride graemlins/thumbsup.gif
The guy that owns her must be a hiker. He parks about 2 miles from the hanger (I don't blame him)
