Ah, A little rain wont hurt any. Thats what wax is for. To help protect against those sort of things. However, that looks like a nice scratch in the quarter there. I have gotten several of those in my 5K paint job on my 66SS and I know its frusterating as hell.

Still a nice car too by the way. The color and matched wheels look really nice.

By the way. It looks like your left rear brake light is out.;)

I agree, the wheels in my opinion kill a nice car in this case. Stock caps, Correct rings and Argent for color and it would look twice as nice.

again, only my opinion, not dawgin the ride one bit :)

Excellent car and I love the wheels. I'd say you'll get a 50/50 on the wheels. But, if you like them, who cares. Great car.

You got rain.......and you're complaining? I don't want to hear it. My yard looks as though it should be in New Mexico. We heard it rained here once, but it turned out to be a rumor.

Nice car!

Nice car! It's Murphy's law that happened. Same thing goes for when you wash & wax a car, it's almost like they're watching you and waiting. :clonk:

I also like your wife's GLI. How does she/you like it? My brother has a VR6. Pretty nice car for the coin.

Don't sweat the rain! It coulda been a squadron of geese or pigeons on a "strafing" run!! (Remember that Nissan commercial??)

I vote yes on the wheels BTW.

I it's got to be my luck. It has not rained here all summer, and the second I bring my car home it rains. I love the GLI, so does the wife she never lets me drive it. She is a little upset she got shut down by a WRX STI. She thought the upgrades I did you fair a little better...lol Now I have to spend more money on go fast stuff for here car, not mine.

Looks great! I think it is a rule that it rains when you pick up your car. I got half way home on a trailor with mine and WHAM, a downpour. Great job on your car.

looks great man! I also thought at first that the chrome from your wifes car was a scratch in the paint. As for the wheels, keep em, they look good!

beautiful car. Love the paint. The wheels look good, but my personal choice would be the stock caps and color for the wheels. Sweet stance too!
