Howdy, I did some searching, in my manuals too, I need help with the install of the trunk mat ( a pic ?) it really doesn't have any natural way that it lays under the spare. I know it seems dumb and maybe it is, I bought it from True Connectons so that's not the issue. It's a 70.Thanks.

Wow, strange question. It should fit, it it is cut the way it should be. I got one for my '70 at NPD, slipped right in. The longest stright edge goes at the back egde of the vehicle in the trunk floor. If you can't get it to fit, they might have given you a different year. Try the NPD one. I think they're only like 20 bucks.
