Hello quick question: what is the spark plug gap supposed to be for a 350 4 barrell punched out to a 383 stroker?

what ignition system do you have. HEI, Conventional breaker point or what?

breaker point probably .035". HEI probably .045"

super whamadyne double throwdown lefthanded MSD #45 maybe .080" or whatever the manufacturer recommends. :)

Yea, right...but you left out one important detail: If it's a lefthanded double throwdown super whamadyne it should be gapped at "080., not .080". If you're intent on giving misleading information, you must be willing to misinform with the utmost of sincerity, otherwise the point may be taken in as something resembling a serious reply! Hell, I don't even know what I just typenated...miscellaneous ramblings at best....to be continued, maybe...

Why would one punch out an engine to make a 383 stroker? I don't get it. Would not the crankshaft change make it a 383?

Maybe it was a 350 punched out .190". Or a 361 punched out .125".

How about a 400CID SB Crank and a .030" bore in a 350 CID block. Thats what I have. Plus balancing also.

I would have thought that you knew that the "080. gap is only done south of the equator. What kind of back yard mechanic are you anyway? Talk about obfuscation! Why ya oughtta be ashamed of yerself!
