Electrical guru's, can you please help me with the correct plug-in position on my RPO U14 gauge set-up. I had Redline clock and gauge shop swap the back pan so I could use it for a column shift (suspect repro with no key slot for plug tang)... the problem is, the plug goes in both ways and I don't want to burn up anything the first time I try and start the engine. The plug has numbers on the plug case starting with 1 and the light blue wires are at the right top of plug looking forward. I'm hoping that there is an easy way to determine if it's 180 degrees out. The schematics are very confusing. Thanks

The side with the number 1 should be pointing up

The plug should not go in both ways. If you look closely at the tangs on the ends of the connector one is wider than the other, therefore will only go all the way in one way, the right way.

The plug is keyed and should only go in one way but if for some reason it doesn't, the trace closest to the headlight switch is #6 on the plug. Mine just happens to be sitting on the bench at the moment so it's easy to see..
