I am going to buy a pair of inner fenders from The Paddock. I was wondering if i can install them without doing anything else to them or should i coat them with something. I was planning on spraying rubber undercoating on them to protect them but didn't know if i should do anything else since they have that EDP on them.

That EDP is good stuff, but not for a final exterior protective coating. I would spray a few coats of urethane on both sides. If your car is strictly a driver, then, undercoat away! If it's show & Go and will see limited commuter action, I'd skip the undercoat. Just scuff the primer with 400 and clean thoroughly before you spray. A good pre-paint cleaner is recommended. lacquer thinner at the very least.

Jimmy thanks, the car is strictly driven on good days unless i'm caught out in a shower. I guess i will paint them and skip the under coating.
