ACETONE!

Works great, and doesn't mess up the gun. Run the gun for about 30 seconds after it stops spraying out the acetone, pop the cap and let it air out.

Use a respirator!

If you have allready sprayed and are now asking this question it is too late. Throw it away and start over.

If you are asking this queastion before spraying... I reccomend laqure thinner. Just buy the cheep stuff for cleaning. As mentioned dissasemble the gun and have a good variety of brushes. (They make gun cleaning brush kits). DO NOT let the POR15 dry before attempting to clean...Clean imediatly after spraying and inbetween coats.

Also be extremely careful for yourself with pleanty of fresh air available and proper respiration equipment and protective clothing. DO NOT allow back spray into your eyes!

Oh... Don't forget to try and have fun. Seriously this is not a fun job. Be careful.

another one here for acetone. buy it by the gallon in any hardware store. work wonders on anything por-15 gets on. you just have to get it cleaned ASAP do not let it sit. if it sits too long i think paint stripper might work but i doubt it. por-15 thinner is expensive and i only use it to thin por-15 for spraying.
