Hi all, I recently just cut my trunk floor out and I'm gonna be welding in a nice new sheet of metal. I'm going to paint it with Por 15 and then spray some trunk paint over it. I have some filler work that needs to be done and I wanted to know if this should be applied before the Por 15 is brushed on or on top of it. I'm thinking of welding in the panels, por 15 everything, filler work, then finish off with a trunk spray paint. Correct me if I'm wrong, I know you guys are the guru's at this stuff. Also, for a trunk floor should I use Mar Glas, or Body filler?
Thank you,

CAN I USE BODY FILLER OR PUTTY WITH POR-15?
Yes. First paint both sides of the rusted area with POR-15; then use body filler or putty as soon as the POR-15 is dry to the touch.POR carries a filler and a 2-part epoxy filler which from the trunk resto article on thier website went on after the POR-15.

Check it out.

Por 15 is always applied to metal. Check out the article in the above post.
