Hi...My name is Aaron...and I've always been coo-coo for Chevelles....

Guess its in the blood...My mom bought a 74 Malibu brand new off the lot...350 4spd car....awesome...

A few monthes ago my passion for cars was rekindled upon the discovery of a major gem in the yard of the acreage I now live on....

A 1976 Chevelle Malibu Laguna S3...Numbers Matching!!!

400 "U" Block
TH350
Posi
swivel buckets
PDL
P.Trunk

about the only thing not original so far in it is the headers and the air cleaner...

I wont lie,its in really rough shape and needs some TLC,but I'm more than willing to go for it...

The car has been parked on this acrage for about 8 yrs.One day for giggles I went out to tinker with it.I hooked up booster cables, got in and before trying to hotwire it,I figured I would try the key for my 89 Olds...The key works!!

3 cranks of the starter and she fired like it had been run 2 days ago.I drove it out of its 6inch deep ruts under its own power...there was even still air in the tires!!

I'm currently making an attempt to find the last registared owner to gain leagl ownership, but I have had no luck so far.Soon I'll look into "alternatives" for getting ownership....8 yrs??the guys not coming back!!

Here's some pics....

Most of the interior pcs that are missing, are in the trunk...door panels, trim, centre console,etc....

Here's hoping to give her lots of love and bring her back to life!!

Good story. Hope you canlocate the PO or get legal possession someway. Gonna take some work but an S3 is worth it. Interior parts are probably near impossible to find.

Oh I forgot to mention....

I did a run of the engine stampings...and sorry to say...its not a 400 like I had thought....I was misinformed....

Its a 350 from a 73 Chevy truck....possibly a 4bolt....we will see.....

Interesting to find such a car sitting for so long. Good luck finding the previous owner and with the resto.

BIG NEWS!!

With the exception of the paperwork, the car is now mine!!!

Dude called me tonight...nice guy....suprisingly...

Here's the story....

He made a deal with some chick that lived upstairs rigt before the fella up there now and never signed any real agreement.Just parked the car about 4 years ago and its sat there since...

He hasnt forgotten about it,just has never gotten around to doing anyting with it.

So we talked a little.I told him about getting running and driving it around the yard and what not...He thought that was cool.....

We talked a little more and with some talking on my end we have come to an agreement...

I pay the "back rent" on him storing it here....nudge nudge...lol

and as far as the car goes...

$500 cash and here's what I get

The 1976 Laguna S3 sport Coupe
w/a 350 sb w/305 heads(brings the compression to 10:1)
the rebuilt TH350 with a Stage 2 shift kit and a 2500 stall convertor
the 8" RG with 3.75 gears
the new floor he put in(thus no carpeting)
the rebuilt swivel buckets

as well...
all the stuff he has at his house...that he will deliver!!

New rear quarters($150 each my cost)
Factory tinted glass all around
all the badging that missing
a dash from another Laguna
new lower door skins
and a mess of other parts he parted off another 76 Laguna...

One hell of a deal if you ask me....!!!

I'll try to get a deposit to him in the next month and maybe the whole thing...

I was hoping for free, but hey,$500 for a sweet ride like this...Hell Yeah!!
