Did you buy the repro style or the O.E.M. style? Those repops SUCK! It's a common thing.

FWIW -- Bought inner window felt repops also (the ones that go on the rear panels) for my 70. Left OK, right hand side not formed right either.

I also had the same problem, and I bought mine from ted williams, right did not fit, I had to bend it to fit, be very careful not to kink it, I did
