My windows are not working. The problem was speratic at first now they don't work at all. I changed the double switch on the drivers side hoping that was my problem but it had no effect at all. Can anyone give me some guidence on checking this out. Could a faulty ground be my problem? If so where are the grounds located? If it's not obvious I'm not much of a mechanic but I'll jump into it with some guidence.

Hopefull yours

I have a 70 with P-Windows Its an SS 454 M 22 Camino. If both windows quit, Go for grounds, also the circut braker is behind the brk booster on the drivers side and on the pass. side behind the kick panel sitting on a brace a relay is hiding there. Could be some of that green yuck on connectors. Clean all connections and lube with "clear electronic grease" My best guess is if they both quit---GROUND or BAD plug in connection. P.S. What the 2 button Switch is doing, It reverses the grounds in the motor for rotation. Let me know how it works out. Also if the relay is bad on the kick panel and you get a new one. The new ones are not grounded , I had to solder a wire from the base of the relay to the metal side of the relay to make a ground. Again let me know how it works out. Bob ACES 2825

Thanx Bob but where are the grounds physically located for the window motors and switches?
