I was itching for an older muscle car last April. After being influenced by the wife, I bought something we both thought was a nice older car, which was a 66 M(cough)g. That was in April, so after four months of looking at it and hearing people say, those are such cute cars, I said enough is enough.

I had been looking for Chevelles or Camaros for about the past month and came across what I thought was a great deal last week. It was a 70 Malibu that has been converted to a SS 454 clone, and the seller was a local private party. After talking with him for about five days, I wrote the check and took the keys and the car today. I'm as happy as a kid in a candy store now.

It's not perfect, and I know it's a clone but I'm cool with that because if it was a real one I'd be scared to drive it, not to mention I couldn't afford it.

As for the user name, it's kind of a dual purpose name. I spent my first 27 years living in MN, so the Twins are my favorite team, also I have 7 mo. old twin girls at home. Love the free the twins line, that's funny. I guess I didn't think of how the name could be viewed, but now you all know the real meaning.

Very Nice 70 Chevelle. And a BBC to boot, very good choice. I am new to this site as well, i have a camaro, but just bought a 1969 Chevelle malibu. I have always loved Chevelle's, and now i own one. I will post pictures this weekend, i am going to go get the car on saturday.
