I need to hook up to a 12v power source for an electric choke. Is it best to run a wire all the way back to the fuse box (ACC), or is there a better power source I could splice in to? What do you guys recommend? Thanks.

Might depend on what kind of vehicle.

Someone on here said to use one of the terminals on the windshield wiper motor.

Thanks Dean. I did read through those older posts, but it seemed that there was some dissagreement over using the wiper motor. I believe I will just go ahead and run a wire back to "IGN". Now my question is do I need a fuse? If so, what amperage? Btw, 71 Chevelle...

I think I woud put a fuse inline even though the IGN terminal is already fused I believe. Anyway a fuse certainly can't hurt anything.
Guessing a 10-15 amp using 16 ga wire.
