Are the paint sealer(s) they try to sell you at the time of purchase worthwhile?
What about undercoating? Yea or nay?
What would you paint and body experts recommend?
Thank you.

Paint sealant is a crock. When i worked at a Chevy Dealership they would try to sell the paint sealant for like $400-$500. I worked in the body shop. Some people would request that it was replaced after i did the paint work. All it was, was a little bottle of wax, woops, i mean "Teflon Sealant" in a bottle with the GM logo on it. I had about ten of them laying around at all times. Its basically a $500 wax job they sell you. Save your money and buy some wax at Autozone. The undercoating may be worth it depending on the price. Its just more of the stuff they try to upsell at the close of the deal, mudflaps, mats, bug shield, bedliner, compass tissue dipenser, hula girl ect.

I worked at a Chevy dealership when I was 18 detailing/prepping new cars, and I asked the guy who trained me what was this "paint sealant" stuff. He said people are paying 100s of $$ to have cheap wax put on there car. That's all it is - cheap car wax.
