Getting ready to prime; is it better to sand between coats or lay down 2-3 coats and sand all at once?
I'm using PPG K-36. Also, when is the best time to apply the seam sealer? I have DPLF on it now.
Thanks,
Rich

There is no need at all to sand between coats. Apply the two or three and then surface.

You can apply the seam sealer right now, but sanding around is difficult so applying it right before painting after it is sanded is easier.

Thanks Brian,
So you don't have to prime over seam sealer?
I didn't know that.
As far as the K-36 goes, I think you have about 1/2 hour pot life and about 15 minutes flash time, so it seems that more than one mix would be required for 3 coats. Sound about right?
Thanks for all your help,
Rich

If you put your seam sealer on before painting ,make sure it is good and dry or spray a little sealer over it because it has a tendency to lift. Mike
