RT Apr 16th, 04, 8:49 PM Getting ready to prime; is it better to sand between coats or lay down 2-3 coats and sand all at once? I'm using PPG K-36. Apply the two or three and then surface. You can apply the seam sealer right now, but sanding around is difficult so applying it right before painting after it is sanded is easier. As far as the K-36 goes, I think you have about 1/2 hour pot life and about 15 minutes flash time, so it seems that more than one mix would be required for 3 coats. Sound about right?
