Hello Guys,

All of these wiring pics are from my 1970 Monte Dash. I tried to figure them out using the assembly manual but I couldn't understand it. In picture 3 what I am trying to figure out is what should I connect to this highlighted under the steering column area?? If you guys want me to explain more let me know. Oh and here is a pic of the painted Monte too.

Thanks

Kris

The second one is dimmer switch, I think.

1. factory radio connection
2. dimmer switch
3. the pic isn't very clear, just looks like the steering column connector. Normally there is a few empty spaces, depending on how the car was equipped.

Thanks guys,

I kinda thought #1 was a radio connect

For #2 perhaps CarQuest carries something that will work. I guess back then they thought the highbeams were better activated by foot.

#3 I was thinking the same thing that empty connectors are for "optioned" steering columns. I wonder what options........perhaps heads up display???

The #3 connection is for cornering lamps. Not really used on chevrolets but since the collum was now a corperate collum they all had the provisions. Some switchs don't even have the wireing there either.
