ok i got a good one for ya .i have a 68 chevelle with what looks like a real old switch in the dash .i just replaced the dash bezel i had to pull the old switch out of the dash and put it in the new one and it didnt have the knob part just the shaft .now here's the problem i picked up a wiper knob to put on it .it wont fit on the shaft the shaft looks to be a little longer than it should be and the diamiter is a little larger so the knob won't go on .i picked up another one same thing knob wont fit .the plug on the back of the switch went right on .will another year wiper switch work? with the same plug on the back .im a little baffeled .i'll probbly have to get the correct wiper switch .but any idea's what yr switch is in my dash .?

Its not a 70-72 model as they do not have knobs on their wiper switches.

i figured it out the knob had a insert in it when i pulled it out i got it on .it;s still not the right switch but the knob is on and it works .thanks
