Is it possible to run a nitrous system on one fuel pump? I have an electric Holley Black pump and 3/8 line running from pump to regulator and up to carb. Can i run one of the outlets on the rgulator up to the cyliniods on the nitrous and the other one left on for the motor when i drive around town? I have seen a pic on a chevelle that looked like he did this.
Or will i have to dedicate another line and pump for the nitrous kit? Also could i use a mechanical holley pump for the kit with a seperate regulator? Any help in this would be awesome.

your best scenario to run would be to run a dedicated system for the nitrous and one for the engine. i have already been through this. i run a holley 140gph black pump for each system with a return line to the tank from the nitrous regulator. hope this helps.

For a long time most nitrous ran two pumps, the thought today is to run one big pump that will feed both. If you run two pumps you have twice as much stuff that can go wrong. I have one Magnafuel 275 that feeds my low 8 second race cars motor and nitrous; 454 with a 250 shot through a Fogger.
Your one black pump will be fine for a street car and a 150 hp shot. We ran a 3/8 line (Holley 140 pump) on a friends 528 Mopar that runs 6.40's in the 1/8 with a 100 hp Top Shot. Between the motor and the nitrous the combination makes almost 850 hp.

thanks for the info. I thought that i could run one pump and get away with it. The black pump should keep up just fine.
Would i just run it using one outlet for the nitrous and one outlet for the motor? This is off the regulator of course.

I am not sure exactly what you mean. You want one regulator for the nitrous side fuel pressure and one for the carburator, unless you plan on always using the same fuel pressure for both.
