Open car show this Saturday July 29 at Indy Speed, Custom, and Restoration located at 1500 E. Main St., Brownsburg, IN. Registration 3-5 pm. Awards at 7:30. $10. Benefiting Riley Children's Hospital. It's a judged show with Top 30 plus Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior, and Best of Show awards. There are also several "pick" awards. Trophies are very, very nice (I've seen them), made by a club member who owns a glass shop. Many nice door prizes too. Any questions please PM me.

An interesting footnote to the show was that IHRA Top Fuel racer Bruce Litton, whose business and shop is just down the street from the show site, entered two cars in the show. A nice '70 Chevelle SS396, and a PERFECT '69 Camaro COPO 427. The Chevelle won a Top 30 award and the Camaro won Best Engine.

Yes I saw him there. He's got his Chevelle going again. I was busy judging so didn't get to talk much.
