does anyone have a wiring diagram for the cowl inner door harness or did anyone hook one up recently?
i would like to know which way the two pink wires that go to the gas pedel switch are hookup.
one has white connector the other has a black or does it matter.
also is that switch just an on or off switch?
thanks

I'll have to look at mine but as far as the on/off question...I believe your right since I think the inner door is either open or closed, I don't think it opens part way.

The wiring harness for the inner hood door has one tan wire that is a push on connector for the elec solenoid. That's all, just one single wire going to that solenoid. The ground is made through the clamping of the solenoid. If your clamp is covered with paint, a good solid ground may not be made and the solenoid won't work. The inner door is either open or shut. When the solenoid is energized, the plunger pulls all the way.
The switch at the gas pedal is on/off only, so connect one wire to one connetor and the other wire to the other connector. That's it. The other wires go to the fuse block to an ign terminal and there is a relay attached under the hood at the firewall for the other wires to connect to.
The hole in the firewall for the harness is already there. It is a square hole near the hole where the throttle cable comes through. The wire harness comes with a rubber grommet. Feed the harness through this square hole and use something like a screwdriver to work the grommet into the hole.
