I have a 1972 chevelle ss that was originaly painted MIDNIGHT BRONZE but is painted yellow now. I am thinking about painting it back to its original color? Does anyone have a picture of a chevelle painted in the midnight bronze?

Thanks

Robert

You can also go to ChevelleStuff and click on 1972 and Chevelle and search in the paint codes section. http://www.chevellestuff.com

Hope this helps,

Tough color to compare from pictures because it's a very dark color. But I had a 72 el camino in that color, with a black vinyl top and it was a very nice color combo. I just pulled out some old snapshots I have but they don't do the color justice. (I sold it in 1985)

(I sold it in 1985)That's a real cool color, but I was just thinking that any "flip/flop" type color like that which changes as the sun hits it would look any good with a vinyl top since the color of the paint would change per lighting conditions, whereas the color of the top wouldn't change. If you can post any pics of your car with that color and the vinyl top, then I'd be very interested to see them. Or you can e-mail them to me... bmgbilly@adelphia.net
