I've been wondering about what color to paint my car in the future. I know that i want it to be a dark blue color, but not sure as to what color of blue to go with. I really like the looks of a midnight blue on a newer camaro in town and was wondering what it would look like on my chevelle. Also, with the dark blue would putting black stipes on instead of the white look good? I've really been wondering how good this would look. I've talked to a couple of people and they thought it would look pretty good on my car. Id also been wondering how a black vinly top would look on the midnight blue/black stipe car.
Does any one have a picture of a midnight blue chevelle with black stripes, preferbly a 70-72? or mabey one thats just solid midnight blue, or something similar in color.

I have been looking for a dark metallic blue to use for my stripes and today I saw a Jeep Cherokee at church that was an awesome blue. I asked the driver and he told me it was called "Patriot Blue". That's what I will be using graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I have also been salking the dealership lots looking at color choices, problem is, everytime I pick a color, it is a factory 3 stage, and i don't want to mess with 3 stage. Sevt_Chevelle told me that some paing mfg's make a bc/cc to match some factory 3 stage. Speaking of a nice looking blue IMO, I found a 2004 Honda Element at a dealership that had one of the nicest blue's I have seen. It is called Fiji Blue Pearl and the code is B529P. Check it out if you can!

bridgehampton blue is a great dark blue. It was a corvette color for 1970.

Here is the Patriot Blue color on my 70, sorry the stripes are bright silver, not black. was hoping to have the only Patriot Blue car, but Kansas is far enough away so I can share. Your monitor may show the color a little different from what it really is.

Thats a pretty sweet looking blue color. Might have to think about that one.
